Arthur G. Jansen Sr., CPPA, SPPA, founder of Jansen & Company, has died at the age of 81.
Originally from New Jersey, Jansen uprooted his family and moved to Texas in 1979, where he established Jansen & Company after discovering the need for public adjusters in the southwest U.S. region.
As the company continued to grow outside of Texas, Jansen in 2003 changed the name to Jansen International. Jansen Sr. later sold the business to his son, Art Jansen Jr., who continued the work his father initiated and became company chief executive officer. Jansen Jr. in 2016 partnered with Adjusters International, forming the company Jansen/Adjusters International as it exists today.
Arthur G. Jansen Sr. was known by his former employees as a hardworking man with integrity. He will truly be missed by the team at Jansen/Adjusters International.
Clients and others may reach the company to share condolences via the Houston office or leave comments on the funeral home website.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Metcalf Funeral Directors of Conroe, Texas. A memorial visitation is planned for July 17 and a celebration of life memorial service is scheduled July 18. Details can be found in Jansen Sr.’s obituary.
